Professional Services Consultant, Implementation Lead
We are obsessed with the hero's journey at JobNimbus. Every person has a hero's journey. Hermione Granger, James T. Kirk, Frodo Baggins, Anna & Elsa, Nacho Libre, and even YOU! This is our “call to adventure” to come check out JobNimbus. What do you have to lose? You might make a few new friends, learn about a sick new company doing some amazing things, and maybe you’ll even land a new job!
Mission:
At JobNimbus, we don't just sell software; we build "Heroes." As a Professional Services Consultant, you are the master architect of that transformation. You take complex, often manual contracting businesses and turn them into streamlined, scalable machines. This is not a "back-end" technical role or a "support" ticket job. This is a high-impact, client-facing coaching role. You are the person who walks into a room of business owners and production heads, earns their trust through deep industry authority, and commands the implementation from kickoff to "Go-Live."
What You'll Be Doing:
- Command the implementation by leading discovery by facilitating deep-dive sessions to uncover how a customer's business actually runs, from the first lead to the final invoice.
- Own the timeline by managing the implementation plan from kickoff through project completion. You are responsible for keeping the customer accountable and the project on track.
- Strategic consult and manage best-practice guidance on process alignment across sales, production, and billing. You have the "backbone" to challenge inefficient legacy processes.
- You will be a part of workflow architecture; you will build and refine pipelines, automations, permissions, and reporting dashboards within the JobNimbus settings.
- Configure retail and insurance estimate templates (including Good/Better/Best structures) aligned with customer's specific pricing strategy.
- Partner with our Data Migration and Quickbooks specialists to ensure the customer's financial backbone and historical data move over seamlessly.
- You will travel approximately 30-50% to meet customers in their world. You must be comfortable commanding a room and leading high-stakes training sessions.
- With zoom planning and pre-work you will understand where they are and start building to where they need to be, including workflows and estimates.
- Day 1 will be validation and building. You will will lock in with leadership to validate the system design, refine pricing accuracy, and align on SOP's.
- Day 2 will be enablement and adoption. You will lead role-specific training for Sales, Production, and Billing teams. You aren't just clicking buttons; you are managing change and ensuring every user is "all-in."
What Makes You the Hero for This Job:
- 2+ years in SaaS Implementation/Consulting. You've done this before. You know how to manage a high-touch implementation and a customer's expectations simultaneously.
- Executive Presence: You can command a room of 20+ people, pivot between a CEO and a field crew, and handle blue-collar personalities with confidence.
- Systems Thinking: you understand how a "Lead" in the CRM impacts the "Invoice" in QuickBooks. You see the whole machine, not just in parts.
- Consultative Acumen: You are comfortable being the expert. You guide the customer; you don't just take orders.
- Customers view you as the "Trusted Advisor." You are someone who understands their business with roofing and restoration as well as they do.
- Customers will go live on time, feel confident and full operational because of your speed to value.
- You will have high adoption and success with teams across all departments.
- Experience in Roofing, Restoration, or the Trades. If you know what a "supplement" or "material takeoff" is, you're a head of the pack.
- Deep experience with CRM/ERP settings, workflow logic, and automation (no coding required).
- Familiarity with QuickBooks workflows and financial handoffs
Superpowers:
- Team Commitment. You know that moment in the Hunger Games where Katnis Everdeen shoots President Coin instead of President Snow and everyone’s head exploded? That is because she knew what was best for Panem and she was so committed she made the larger, harder decision. That is the level of commitment we need. Minus the killing of course!
- Extreme Ownership. We need someone who embodies this value and can figure things out and move quickly. If you need direction and someone to hold your hand, this job is not for you.
