Mission:

The Content Marketing Lead owns storytelling at JobNimbus by creating magnetic content that fuels the entire customer journey. It begins from awareness and consideration through adoption and expansion. This role leads a team of content marketers and partners across the business to establish JobNimbus as the #1 trusted brand in roofing, driven by top-ranked content and the most engaged contractor community in the industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Build and execute a full-funnel content strategy that drives awareness, education, and demand through anchor and derivative assets such as industry reports, guides, thought leadership presentations, case studies, blogs, tools, podcasts, videos, and social content.
  • Drive organic growth through SEO and answer engines, growing rankings for strategic keywords, improving website schema, and developing pillar content that increases non-branded search visibility and web traffic.
  • Grow social and influencer-driven acquisition by creating entertaining and educational content, building influencer partnerships, and expanding JobNimbus’ reach across contractor audiences.
  • Develop a thriving contractor community, turning power users into advocates, contributors, and referral sources through testimonials, user groups, engagement rituals, and community-led content.
  • Build scalable content operations, creating systems that repurpose content across formats, manage asset libraries, leverage AI tools, and fulfill stakeholder requests efficiently without sacrificing quality.
  • Measure and optimize performance, tracking KPIs such as organic traffic, referral acquisition, social engagement, and sourced or influenced pipeline to continuously improve the impact of content.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing content team, hiring and coaching content marketers, contractors, and agencies while partnering cross-functionally with Marketing, BD, Sales, CX, and Product.

What Makes You the Hero for This Job:

  • 7+ years of experience leading content marketing in technology companies (SMB or vertical SaaS experience is a strong plus).
  • Proven success hiring and managing content specialists, contractors, and creative agencies.
  • Hands-on expertise growing organic traffic through SEO, answer engine optimization, and modern search discovery channels.
  • Strong passion for social media and influencer-driven marketing, with experience growing engagement and community participation.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality long-form and multi-format content including blogs, case studies, presentations, videos, and thought leadership assets.
  • Experience building customer advocacy or community programs that turn customers into promoters and referral sources.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting ideas to leadership or audiences.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and impact-oriented with a passion for modern marketing technology and AI-powered workflows.
  • A deep respect for the blue-collar professionals we serve - especially roofers and contractors who rely on JobNimbus to run their businesses.
